Our Story: Born from the Front Lines of ADHD
We didn't start with a business plan; we started with a mission.
We are a team of two "ADHD moms" who have spent years navigating the beautiful, often chaotic reality of raising children with sensory needs. As parents, we’ve seen the struggle firsthand: the restless energy during homework, the "lost" fidget tools that never make it home, and the subtle stigma that can come with needing a little extra help to stay grounded.
The spark for NYRO didn't come from a boardroom - it came from intuition. It was sparked by the insight of Yael’s son, an 11-year-old navigating ADHD, who recognized that the best tool isn't one you have to remember to bring, but one that is already part of you.

We bring more than just a personal passion to this mission; we bring decades of professional experience in protecting ideas and building companies.
Shani, a lawyer with a background in complex strategy and entrepreneurship, understands how to turn a vision into a scalable reality. Yael, a leading intellectual property attorney and founder of a global law firm, has spent her career helping innovators protect their most important work. Together, we are combining our legal and business expertise with our lived experience as mothers to create a product that is as functionally sound as it is legally and commercially robust.
Why We’re Building This
As professionals, we know that success is built on focus. But as moms, we know that for many children, "sitting still" is the enemy of concentration. Science tells us that fidgeting is a functional mechanism that helps the brain regulate, but the classroom isn't always built for it.
We saw three major gaps in the tools available today:
